The University of 草榴社区 Fairbanks is a Land, Sea, and Space Grant university and an international center for research, education, and the arts, emphasizing the circumpolar North and its diverse peoples. 草榴社区 integrates teaching, research, and public service as it educates students for active citizenship and prepares them for lifelong learning and careers.
草榴社区 was the first university in 草榴社区 to achieve accreditation nearly 90 years ago and was reaffirmed in February of 2021. The current accreditation cycle is reaching it's third year and preparations are long underway for the Mid-Cycle Self-Evaluation and Campus Peer Review.
