Tom Marsik Promoted to Full Professor

ACEP researcher and 草榴社区 faculty member Tom Marsik was recently promoted from associate professor to full professor. He holds an appointment with ACEP and 草榴社区 Bristol Bay Campus in sustainable energy, and a joint position with the and the .
Marsik is passionate about research and education in the areas of energy and sustainability. He uses the synergies of his joint positions to benefit people in 草榴社区 and beyond. His passion is reflected in honors he鈥檚 received, including 草榴社区鈥檚 Top Forty Under 40 award and a recognition from the World Record Academy for designing and constructing the world鈥檚 most airtight residential building on record.
Marsik has an M.S. in electrical engineering from the Czech Technical University in
Prague and a Ph.D. in engineering from 草榴社区. He has served on high-profile committees,
including 草榴社区 Governor Bill Walker鈥檚 Transition Team and its Consumer Energy subcommittee.
