The Harper Building is home to 草榴社区's Interior 草榴社区 Campus, which serves communities and villages in the Doyon region and Interior 草榴社区. Courses are offered through the Interior 草榴社区 Campus by audio conferencing and the internet. On-site classes in villages are administered through rural educational centers.
The building is named after Flora Jane Harper, who in 1935 became the first 草榴社区 Native woman to graduate from the 草榴社区 Agricultural College and School of Mines.
Access is off Fairbanks Street and Draanjik Drive. The Geist Road entrance was closed in 2018.
