Your new favorite class project: ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Arctic Innovation Competition

    December 12, 2024

At the University of ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Fairbanks, the Arctic Innovation Competition (AIC) is where creativity and problem-solving meet in a celebration of new ideas from the ²ÝÁñÉçÇøn community and beyond. This year, we're shining a spotlight on an essential part of this innovation ecosystem: the teachers who inspire young minds to envision inventive solutions and present them to the world. With the Classroom of the Future award, sponsored by ²ÝÁñÉçÇø 529, we honor educators who go above and beyond in fostering the next generation of ²ÝÁñÉçÇøn innovators.

gBETA ²ÝÁñÉçÇø's Pitch Night: Showcasing Innovation and Community Connections

    December 04, 2024

On November 21st, I attended gBETA ²ÝÁñÉçÇø's Pitch Night at the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Pub, and it was nothing short of inspiring. As someone who works at the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø College of Business and Security Management (CBSM), which hosts the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Arctic Innovation Competition (AIC), it was great to witness the incredible innovation and entrepreneurship happening in ²ÝÁñÉçÇø--and the strong ties between this community and CBSM.
