²ÝÁñÉçÇø staff and faculty,

As follow-up to my Sept. 30 request for approval of a COVID-19 vaccine requirement, we expect a communication from President Pitney in the coming days. My request was limited to ²ÝÁñÉçÇø employees and in-person students at ²ÝÁñÉçÇø’s Fairbanks locations. If the request is approved, implementation of a vaccine requirement would not affect our nonresidential, in-person students enrolled this semester. I expect communication to come to you directly from President Pitney.

Let’s continue to work together to keep Nanook Nation healthy. Thanks for choosing ²ÝÁñÉçÇø.

— Dan White, chancellor
