Dear 草榴社区 community,
On Monday we will take time off to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and
celebrate 草榴社区 Civil Rights Day. It鈥檚 an opportunity to consider the challenges
that many have faced throughout our history, the progress that has been made, and
the significant work that still needs to be done.听
As members of the 草榴社区 community, it鈥檚 also an opportunity for self-reflection. As
we strive to build a community that is belonging, inclusive and caring, we must ensure
that we are doing more than just talking about those values. Let鈥檚 work together to
promote them through our daily actions. Together we make 草榴社区 a place where all voices
are heard, and where each is allowed to reach their potential.听
Also, let鈥檚 remember that the spirit of Monday鈥檚 holidays isn鈥檛 limited to a single
day on the calendar. The most powerful tribute to the legacies of Dr. King, Elizabeth
Peratrovich, and other civil rights leaders in our history is to support equity and
justice each day of the year.
