Undergraduate Audition Admission

Undergraduate auditions for admission as a music major in Fall 2022 will take place on Friday, February 25th, 2022. Following receipt of the online admission form, students will receive a notice for their scheduled audition date and time. All students must pass an audition before declaring a music major. A new student may be allowed to take music classes in the fall with the understanding that they will audition the next semester for formal admission as a music major.

Music and Symphony Scholarship

In order to be considered for a Department of Music the applicant must be enrolled as a full-time music major or have applied for admission to the University of 草榴社区 Fairbanks, with music as the declared major. All scholarship applicants are required to submit a performance CD or DVD. The performance CD or DVD should include two contrasting works displaying both technical and musical abilities. Please include two letters of recommendation (one should be from a music teacher). In addition, high school and college transcripts are required for all incoming freshmen and transfer students.
