Minnie Naylor has taken on the role of interim director of the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Northwest Campus, while continuing her leadership as director of the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Chukchi Campus, a position she has held since Aug. 1, 2022. Naylor is originally from Kotzebue and has family from Shishmaref and Noatak. Naylor’s deep passion for expanding educational opportunities in the Northwest Arctic region, combined with her broad experience in academic and administrative roles, makes her an exceptional choice for this dual responsibility. Her work has consistently demonstrated a profound commitment to student success and equitable access to resources, embodying the values we strive to uphold across all our campuses.
Haley Hanson has transitioned from assistant director to interim director of the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Kuskokwim Campus. Since joining us in fall 2022, Hanson has been a key figure at the Kuskokwim Campus, serving not only as assistant director but also as health careers advisor and principal investigator for both the Title III and USDA grants. Her deep roots in Bethel, coupled with her academic achievements — holding Masters of Education in Secondary Education and Masters in Rural Development from the University of ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Fairbanks — make her uniquely qualified to lead the Kuskokwim Campus. Hanson’s unwavering commitment to community service and her extensive university experience ensure she will continue to drive positive change and foster growth within our campus and the surrounding villages.
The looks forward to the continued positive impact that Haley Hanson and Minnie Naylor will have at their campuses and in their communities, as they bring dedicated leadership and a shared commitment to fostering growth and opportunity across our campuses in their new roles.
