Santa Claus from the Santa Claus House in North Pole will be a special judge for ²ÝÁñÉçÇø's Polar Grizz Beard Competition on Friday, Nov. 22 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Wood Center-first floor lounge area for Men's Health/Mental Health Awareness Month.

Enjoy hot beverages and fun treats like beard/mustache shaped cookies and brownies!

Encourage your friends and family to join the fun — there’s still time to sign up for this amateur-friendly competition. It’s free to enter and open to everyone (both ²ÝÁñÉçÇø-affiliated and the local community).

Not enough facial hair? No problem! Women and those without facial hair can compete in the Creative Round.

To enter, please email Julia Aikman from ORCA at jeaikman@alaska.edu or, just come on out and be a spectator!

Audience Voting:

  • Cast your vote for the Grand Prize Winner with $1 voting tickets.
  • More tickets = more votes for your favorite competitor AND more support for our amazing charities: NAMI-Fairbanks and the Interior AIDS Association.
  • Judges will also award prizes for 2nd place, 3rd place, and honorable mention.

Come on out and have some fun with us and get your picture with Santa who has the most epic beard of them all.
