²ÝÁñÉçÇø Troth Yeddha’ Ph.D. Award applications open
Applications for ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Troth Yeddha’ Ph.D. Awards are now open, with funding available to support a limited number of Ph.D. students for summer 2025, fall 2025, and spring 2026. These awards are available to all currently enrolled Ph.D. students and include funding for various purposes:
- up to $10,000 for research expenses
- up to $10,000 for travel expenses for distance students to collaborate with their advisors
- funding to help Ph.D.-pursuing ²ÝÁñÉçÇø faculty buy-out their teaching loads
- coverage for tuition and/or fees
- and full- or part-time research assistantships, which are available to both traditional Ph.D. students and eligible ²ÝÁñÉçÇø staff or students with external employment
These awards are being offered as part of ²ÝÁñÉçÇø’s effort to attain R1 status in the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education by 2027. Competitive applicants will need to clearly demonstrate how the funding will help them complete their doctoral degree (ideally by spring 2026). For more information regarding ²ÝÁñÉçÇø’s efforts to achieve R1 research status, please see ²ÝÁñÉçÇø’s R1 Landing Page.
Students and their advisor will both have to fill out an application for these Troth Yeddha’ Awards.
For consideration both applications must be received by Nov. 15, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
Details about the awards can be found in the header of each application.
