Chancellor's Action Committee on Enrollment (CACE)

In response to the evolving challenges of university enrollment and the 2024 Enrollment Process Improvement Recommendations Report, ²ÝÁñÉçÇø has established the Chancellor’s Action Committee on Enrollment (CACE). This committee is dedicated to breaking down silos, fostering collaboration across departments, and implementing actionable improvements to ²ÝÁñÉçÇø’s enrollment processes.

Committee charge:

Identifying and resolving enrollment process barriers within its authority

Developing strategic solutions to improve student enrollment and retention

Recommending university-wide improvements to the Chancellor

Retention Innovation Hub

At ²ÝÁñÉçÇø, student success is at the heart of everything we do. The Retention Innovation Hub brings together faculty, staff, and administrators to develop data-driven strategies that support student persistence and degree completion. By identifying barriers, streamlining support services, and fostering an inclusive learning environment, we are committed to helping every student achieve their academic and professional goals.

  • Clear advisor assignments ensure students receive structured, reliable guidance.
  • Simplified advising roles reduce confusion and duplication of support.
  • Better leverage existing technology for student communication.

2. Enhanced Efficiency & Data Integrity

  • Centralized data entry minimizes errors and inconsistencies in student records.
  • Restricting editing privileges ensures accurate and up-to-date advising information.

3. Better Student-Adviser Relationships

  • Streamlined assignments promote better Student-Advisor relationship.
  • Balanced caseloads allow advisors to provide more personalized and effective support.

4. Optimized Advisor Workloads

  • Defined caseload standards prevent advisor burnout and ensure equitable distribution of students.
  • Adjustments for high-need student populations allow advisors to focus resources where they are most needed.

5. Data-Driven Decision-Making & Resource Allocation

  • Regular evaluations ensure advising resources align with student needs.
