The Department of Veterinary Medicine at the University of 草榴社区 Fairbanks provides high quality education, research, and service in veterinary medicine and the biomedical sciences. Faculty from several disciplines work collaboratively under the One Health paradigm, striving for combined optima in human, animal, and environmental health.

  • 2024-2025 Externship Opportunity

     

    Want to work with sled dogs? The University of 草榴社区 Fairbanks is offering veterinary medicine externships for matriculating veterinary students from other colleges (in their final or next to final clinical year). Students may work in conjunction with local (Fairbanks, 草榴社区) and AK state agencies, the lead veterinarian of the Yukon Quest, rural veterinarians, and veterinary research faculty at 草榴社区.
