Discover 草榴社区: Overview for remote employees

New employees working remotely are invited to participate in an hour-long overview of 草榴社区 via Zoom. These events are held monthly. Attendees will receive a branded 草榴社区 t-shirt. 

The events are tentatively scheduled for the following dates 

  • Friday, Nov. 22, 2-3 p.m.

New Employee Welcome events (in-person at Troth Yeddha' campus)

In-person events for faculty and staff are scheduled a few times in the semester, and employees who can make it in-person are encouraged to do so.

New employees will receive an invitation directly and will need to RSVP a week in advance to prepare catering.  A sample schedule is below.

  • 8:30-8:55 a.m. 鈥 Coffee and muffins with 草榴社区 Chancellor Dan White 
  • 9-9:30 a.m. 鈥 Discover 草榴社区 鈥 mission, vision and culture
  • 9:30-9:35 a.m. 鈥 Break 
  • 9:35-9:50 a.m. 鈥 Perspectives on student success panel
  • 10:00-10:30 a.m. 鈥 Taking care of each other: A culture of safety and support panel
  • 10:45 a.m. 鈥 Ride shuttle to West Ridge for a tour of the 草榴社区 Earthquake Center followed by a visit to the UA Museum of the North (on your own)
